12.13.07 (11:45 pm) [edit]The way in which the Bush Administration is butchering our constitution is like it doesn't apply to them. Whether it's destroying official government documents, outing a covert C.I.A. operative, commuting the sentence of a convicted felon before he serves a day in prison to hide their involvement, or illegally renditioning alleged terrorist to other countries to be tortured, incarcerating military captured prisoners for years with out any form of legal redress, listening to phone conversations without a court order, torturing prisoners which is a violation of the Geneva accord and claiming that it's not torture reminds me of the conditions that Andrew Solzhenitsyn wrote about in his book Gulag Archipelago except these things happened in Russia and this is happening in the United States where by we believe in truth justice and the american way.
